Role
Who you are
- 5+ years in B2B SaaS sales, with 2+ years leading a sales team
- A track record at a high-growth SaaS or data platform company
- Proven success running a consultative motion with mid-market customers
- A genuine coaching mindset — you measure your success by your team's growth
- Command of pipeline management, forecasting, and deal execution
- Comfort in the room with CMOs, Event Marketing Managers, Demand Gen, and Revenue leaders
- Not all candidates will check all of the requirements listed above and that’s ok! We are open to great people from non-traditional backgrounds
What the job involves
- We're looking for a sales leader who thrives on the front lines — someone who doesn't just manage a number, but builds the machine that hits it. As the Team Lead, Mid-Market Sales, you'll take the reins of a high-performing team of Account Executives, shape how we sell to the mid-market, and turn strategy into revenue, deal by deal
- This isn't a "watch the dashboard" leadership role. You'll be in the trenches — coaching reps through tough calls, jumping into deals when it counts, and building a sales motion that scales. You'll report directly to our Head of Sales and partner closely with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product to make sure every prospect and customer feels the value we deliver
- Lead the team. Coach, develop, and grow a squad of Mid-Market AEs into a repeatable revenue engine
- Own the number. Bookings targets, pipeline health, forecast accuracy — it's on you
- Get your hands dirty. Step into deals when it matters — strategy, pricing, negotiation, close
- Build the playbook. Define and continuously sharpen our mid-market sales motion
- Speak the customer's language. Translate event marketing pain points into a clear, data-backed value story
- Break down silos. Work hand-in-hand with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product to deliver a seamless customer journey
Our take
Event marketing enables companies to engage with potential buyers and showcase their offerings up close - providing an ideal platform to communicate ideas, thoughts and brand identity. Vendelux offers a platform that empowers event marketers and CMOs to analyse customer and competitor behaviour, and in turn choose the best conferences to attend.
The company leverages AI to deliver insights on attendees and sponsors of over 160,000 global conferences, helping customers decide which events they should attend and sponsor for the largest return. It also allows collaboration with sales teams to book meetings with every possible lead, and ROI evaluation tools that prove the value of all event marketing activities.
Since founding, the company has amassed a growing customer base that includes the likes of GitLab, DocuSign and Intel, and has also raised several successful funding rounds. The most recent investment supports increased marketing efforts and the enhancement of its ROI-evaluation tools, as well as hiring to build out its team.
