Who you are

Proficiency in Rust or another systems programming language
Extensive experience designing, building, and deploying software independently
We are looking for generalists as well as specialists, for example systems programmers or engineers who have focused on performance or security

What the job involves

Build highly reliable internal tools and services to support the Staff
Design, build, and deploy gRPC-based services, CLI tools, or kubernetes operators
Diagnosing and debugging complex issues in production environments
Identifying and implementing optimizations across the entire software stack

Application process

After submitting your application, the team reviews your CV and statement of exceptional work. If your application passes this stage, you will be invited to a 15 minute interview (“phone interview”) during which a member of our team will ask some basic questions. If you clear the initial phone interview, you will enter the main process, which consists of four technical interviews:
1. Coding assessment in one of the following programming languages: Rust, C++, or Go
2. Systems design: Translate high-level requirements into a scalable, fault-tolerant service
3. Systems hands-on: Demonstrate practical skills in a live problem-solving session
4. Project deep-dive: Present your past exceptional work to a small audience
5. Meet and greet with the wider team
