What the job involves
- Talon. One is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Operations Manager to serve as a strategic partner to our AMER Go-To-Market leadership team, driving the rigor, forecasting accuracy, and operational maturity our revenue engine needs as we scale
- You’ll own sales forecasting, commission strategy, and deal desk management, while partnering closely with Sales, Finance, and Legal to turn strategic priorities into operational reality. Day to day, that means being the person Sales Leadership turns to for a clear read on pipeline health
- Reporting to the Head of Revenue Operations, this is a business-critical role that directly influences the success of Talon. One’s sales strategy and execution
- You will be joining our 5-person Revenue Operations team, a central pillar of Talon. One’s global go-to-market strategy
- We serve as strategic partners, not a support function, to Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Leadership, working across regions to make our revenue engine scalable, data-driven, and aligned. Our mission is to give revenue teams the tools, data, and workflows they need to drive predictable growth and smarter decisions
- Manage the sales forecast rhythm, working closely with Global Sales Leadership to ensure accurate and timely forecasts supported by strong pipeline management and deal qualification practices
- Work with a modern GTM tech stack, including Salesforce, Ironclad, CaptivateIQ, Gong, and Claude, to drive the insights and automation this role depends on
- Oversee commission strategy, evaluating and refining commission plans, implementing them in the automation system, and managing the monthly close and payout process
- Work with Sales Leadership to define KPIs, maintain sales dashboards, and provide insights to drive performance optimization
- Identify sales process inefficiencies by building rapport with individual Sellers and implementing solutions to improve day-to-day effectiveness
- Own the Quote-to-Cash process, ensuring smooth configuration in Salesforce, streamlined workflows in CLM, and seamless integration with Finance's billing system
- Build the deal desk function, managing deal structuring, pricing approvals, and contract reviews while collaborating with sales, legal, and finance teams to accelerate deal velocity
- Build a rapport with the individual Sellers, identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions to increase their day-to-day efficiency and effectiveness
Our take
Talon.one initiates and automates loyalty programs and discount campaigns for product-oriented businesses. Its varied product service includes coupon, referral, gift card, and loyalty software as well as product bundles and wallet solutions.
Paradoxical to its mission to create developer-free promotion tools for companies, Talon.one was actually founded by several software developers. In 2022, the company partnered with Big Commerce to offer promotion engine features to Jimmy Brings, an Australian alcohol delivery company, highlighting its integration capabilities as it had to collaborate effectively with various software companies.
Talon.one's offering has a lot of potential, which hasn't gone unnoticed, and its secured a hard-hitting client list that includes Mercedes, Delivery Hero and Adidas. It also raised some serious growth funding in 2025 which puts it in a great position as it eyes thoughtful and sustainable long-term growth.
