What the job involves
- You’ll work with our Tech Lead and backend engineer as our Frontend developer, and you will be working on our core platform to deliver an amazing user experience
- The MYNDUP platform provides a complete booking and delivery system to enable virtual therapy and coaching sessions
- You will be part of a team that works remotely but will be required to attend meetings held in London from time to time
- You will work in a fast-paced agile SDLC environment with a key focus on CI/CD workflows and providing automatic test coverage via tools such as cypress.io
- You will be required to build out our full front-end stack including HTML, CSS and JS development
- Working closely with the development and design teams you will be expected to take an active role in design meetings, sprint planning and retrospectives
- You will be required to write well-documented code with appropriate test cases
- You will work with AWS and GitLab to perform CI/CD activities
- The front-end applications will consume our in-house APIs
- Ensuring browser compatibility, responsive design and great UX including load speeds with being crucial

- Ensure our users, client companies & practitioners receive the most awesome experience throughout the entire booking and video session flow
- Utilizing your user-centric superpowers and seeking to deliver memorable experiences and “WOW” at key product touchpoints
- Build a platform where we can leverage AI and ML to enhance the user experience and connect users to the right practitioner within seconds
- Help us solve the mental health pandemic in the workplace

Our take
In recent years, mental health has accelerated as a topic in public discussion. Over 264 million people suffer from depression globally which costs the global economy $1 trillion every year. Moreover, clinical anxiety increased by over 30% in February - March 2020 while the wider effects of mental health from Covid-19 are yet to be fully addressed. However, EAP providers and insurance companies have failed to address this issue as academic research concludes that a range of different mental health solutions are required for effective treatment.
