Who you are

We are seeking a highly skilled, curious, and motivated Frontend Engineer to join our growing team at Lazarus
We are looking for a driven individual that is passionate about keeping the world safe through technology
3+ years of experience in front-end development using JavaScript, React, or similar technologies (Python experience is a plus)
Experience using CI/CD tools such as Gitlab to version control and build testing into the CI/CD pipeline
Experience working in a scrum or agile software development team using Jira
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
United States citizenship
Ability to pass Advanced Security Screening
Eligibility for Security Clearance
Experience with the US Government and/or Department of Defense

Desirable

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Mobile development experience on Android platforms using Java or Kotlin
Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS
Knowledge of REST API design principles
Experience with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker
Experience with GenAI UI and application development
Interest in generative tools for UI Design and generative Design

What the job involves

As a Frontend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the front end applications that implement our software products
Our customers work in some of the most critical aspects of the Nation and her Allies’ National Security
Design and implement scalable and maintainable frontend systems using a variety of programming languages
On the Development team, we give individuals the chance to develop new skill sets as we work on creating breakthrough products
Collaborate with designers to integrate design components with user-facing applications
Write clean, maintainable code that follows best practices and adheres to coding standards
Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise
Write unit tests and participate in code reviews to ensure the quality and reliability of our products

Our take

Normally, extracting information from documents with AI requires that AI to be trained on the specific type of form it will be dealing with. Lazarus AI delivers RikAI, a large language model capable of extracting data from any document without training.

Lazarus' advanced document understanding API can contextualize information, analyze layouts and find answers to natural language questions across any number of documents. The company also offers Lazarus Forms, a general data extraction API that makes unstructured PDFs more usable.

The potential time-saves make Lazurus AI a great option in industries such as insurance and legal, where document processing takes up a large chunk of operations. The company has raised funding from WaveFx that will be used to expand operations and its development efforts.
