- Formlabs is looking for highly motivated individuals to join us as we build an amazing sales team and bring groundbreaking professional 3D printers to every designer, engineer, factory floor and medical institution, throughout the world!

- If you can build positive relationships with customers and help them with their sales or service-related questions, join our team as a Technical Sales Manager (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) in our Berlin office
- We are looking for talented, goal-driven professionals who will be responsible for quickly responding to prospective customers, creating and utilizing outreach strategies, and identifying and closing sales opportunities
- Fluency in German and high level of English (C1 or business proficiency)
- Have at least 2 - 3 years of experience in sales support, customer service, or related roles
- Strong interest in B2B sales
- Have an affinity for avant-garde technologies and/or engineering
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to function both independently and as part of a team
- Ready to learn and open for constructive feedback
- Persistent and have a “never give up” attitude
- Well-prepared and detail-oriented
- Achievement-oriented, hungry to succeed
What the job involves
- Develop and communicate with qualified leads
- Proactively nurture and grow existing accounts
- Aim for high levels of customer satisfaction
- Effectively articulate Formlabs’ value proposition and product range
- Understand customer demand and consult on additive manufacturing solutions
- Organize regular customer meetings to ensure customer delight and actively drive account growth
- Attending trade shows and participating in internal customer events
- Collaborate with your team to drive pipeline and growth
- Listen to customers and provide regular customer feedback
Our take
Formlabs' founders met at MIT in 2011, and set about creating a company that would disrupt the 3D printing market. While the majority of the industry was experiencing a crash, Formlabs managed to buck the trend by implementing additive manufacturing (stereolithography) to a desktop form factor.
While many 3D printing manufacturers have tried in vain to market their hardware to home users, Formlabs has maintained a laser-sharp focus on serving the needs of professionals and large-scale companies such as Coke and Sony. Striving to keep costs low while maintaining an optimal user experience, the company has sold well over 100,000 printers.
With considerable funding at its back, Formlabs has continued to develop new solutions such as a series of mass manufacturing solutions that enable its customers to dramatically increase their 3D printing output. As the largest supplier of professional SLA and SLS 3D printers in the world, the company is well set to further its position and achieve further global growth.
