What the job involves
- We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Executive Recruiter & Admin to join our team and support our full-cycle recruiting efforts under the guidance of the Lead Recruiter
- In this role, you'll play a key part in identifying top talent, coordinating hiring processes, and ensuring a seamless candidate experience
- You’ll also provide light executive support, including calendar coordination and occasional travel arrangements for leadership team members

- Work under the guidance of the Lead Recruiter to support the end-to-end hiring process, including sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, and onboarding
- Proactively source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and talent pipelines to maintain a steady pool of qualified applicants
- Conduct resume reviews, initial phone screens, and coordinate interview panels; assess candidates for skill set, culture fit, and long-term potential
- Extend offers, negotiate terms, and ensure smooth transitions from offer acceptance to onboarding
- Facilitate seamless communication and coordination between executives and cross-functional teams
- Prioritize and manage conflicting demands
- Assist with scheduling internal meetings, interviews, and occasional travel arrangements for executives or leadership team members as needed
Our take
Founded in 2019, Aven is a credit card provider that uses home equity to provide users with low interests rates on their credit cards (known as HELOC). The company prides itself on minimalism and speed (without hindering quality) - with users able to be approved in as little as fifteen minutes for one of its cards.
With its mobile friendly, fast app, Aven is a bit of a phenomenon in the credit card space. It is the first credit card to be created with the unlocking of home equity, and its “without frills” approach makes what can be quite a daunting and overwhelming process seem far more approachable for its customers.
Aven has had multiple successful funding rounds since it was founded, enabling it to expand operations and pursue its mission. A 2024 Series D fundraise saw the company reach Unicorn status, with next steps including the goal of expanding to all 50 states by 2025 and exploring new market categories in the future.
