Desirable

• Systems Engineering bridges the gap between Riverlane and its customers. The team acts as the primary technical interface for customers’ engineers, guiding them through product integration and helping troubleshoot complex quantum systems. The team also contributes to securing design wins and driving product development
• As an FPGA Engineer, you will configure Riverlane’s Deltaflow Hardware to connect quantum computers and provide low-latency, high-throughput systems that perform complex operations predictably and reliably. You will adapt the hardware to evolving quantum control systems and support scientists running quantum experiments
• Join a team developing quantum error-correcting algorithms, working alongside mathematicians, physicists, and engineers on a range of projects
• Host technical workshops on Riverlane’s QEC Interface
• Evaluate customers’ control-system and data-communication requirements
• Write RTL to adapt to customers’ control systems and ensure data packets are received correctly
• Work with Riverlane’s Quantum Application Team to design experiments to test the system
• Benchmark and discover hardware latency limitations
• Report issues and help the QA team at Riverlane replicate the setup
• Write scripts to debug and trace faults
• Update the verification environment and test vectors based on data gathered from experiments
• Highlight successes, issues, and trends across customers’ quantum systems
• Provide feedback on key features needed to win current and next-generation products
• We will also consider part-time applications for this role. Please indicate your preferred working schedule in your cover letter
