Role
Who you are
- Experience: 5+ years in SaaS partnerships, including 2+ years managing technology and/or channel partnerships
- Go-to-Market Execution: Proven track record of scaling existing partnerships and launching new strategic alliances from scratch, using data-driven insights to prioritize efforts and accelerate time-to-value
- Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated success in developing and executing partnership strategies that align with broader business goals
- AI-Native Operator: Proven ability to leverage AI tools to accelerate deliverables and multiply impact across partnership initiatives while maintaining high output quality and velocity
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the customer support technology landscape, evolving trends, and how AI impacts the CX space

What the job involves
- As Strategic Partnerships Manager, you’ll own Assembled's most critical partnership relationships and build the next wave of ecosystem partnerships that define our go-to-market motion
- Partnerships drives 30% of revenue, and you'll own the strategic alliances that contribute most to the function
- You'll have ownership from top to bottom: partner strategy, leading executive relationships, driving co-sell motions, launching new partnerships at scale, and ensuring Assembled has positive mindshare, from IC to leadership
- You'll leverage AI to accelerate execution and expand what's possible across key partnerships. We're looking for someone who has done this before at scale, knows what great looks like, and who knows that great partnerships are built in the details
- If you want to own partnerships that move the needle and prove they can be a competitive advantage for an organization, this is the role
- Develop Partnership Strategy: Build and execute comprehensive strategies for Assembled's most strategic, complex partnerships that align with business priorities and unlock maximum ecosystem value
- Manage Executive Relationships: Cultivate and maintain senior-level relationships with partner organizations, serving as Assembled's primary liaison and trusted point of contact, specifically driving mindshare that converts to real outcomes (e.g. revenue, trust)
- Enable Partner Teams: Design and deliver training, enablement programs, and sales tools that build partner competency and drive Assembled awareness across partner organizations
- Drive Partnership Revenue: Accelerate pipeline generation through joint planning, account mapping, co-selling motions, and field activities that convert partnerships into closed deals
- Measure and Optimize: Track partnership performance metrics, identify what's working, and continuously refine strategies to maximize sourced and influenced revenue
Our take
Assembled's platform helps companies manage and scale their customer support services. Customer service management is just one of the many areas that are being overhauled by digital transformation. Assembled helps streamline cumbersome and error-prone customer support processes - such as planning support rosters, forecasting demand, and evaluating team performance.
Assembled already counts companies like Zoom, GoFundMe and Stripe on its customer books, and finds huge opportunity in key industries like eCommerce and food deliveries that have been seeing massive digital overhauls.
Having received significant investment, the company seems set on continued growth, with funds cited to support product development as well as help launch its CX Scholars initiative. This will commit a percentage of revenue to continuing education for support workers.
