- The right candidate for this position has extensive Treasury leadership experience and expertise, is detail oriented, deeply technical, and driven

- 12-15+ years of progressive Treasury, liquidity, and cash management experience in leadership positions
- 8+ years of experience in banking and/or FinTech with multi-currency exposure
- Deep relationships with global multinational banks
- Strong capital / liquidity forecasting and risk management experience
- Prior managerial experience in Treasury function at a global bank or FinTech
- Prior experience in capital markets role, a plus
- Robust analytical, problem solving and financial modeling skills
- Strong knowledge of relevant Treasury management systems
- Prior experience in building scalable processes and driving continuous improvement and automation within a growing Finance organization
- Working US GAAP knowledge especially in FX, investment accounting, crypto assets and fair value accounting
- Prior institutional Crypto experience, a plus
- Demonstrated ability to effectively document and articulate business issues in a timely and professional manner
- Effective communicator, both written and oral
- Strong attention to detail in assessing financial information
- Ability to adapt and learn new processes and tasks
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
- Knowledge of a wide range of reporting software (ERPs, expense management tools, TMS, etc.)
What the job involves
- Zero Hash is looking for an experienced VP - Global Corporate Treasurer to oversee, lead and scale the firm’s Treasury function, including all processes and operations
- We are a high performing team looking for an equally ambitious and driven leader
- This role will report directly to the CFO
- Oversee the firm’s day-to-day Corporate Treasury activities globally
- Lead the company’s Financial Operations (FinOps) function globally
- Manage ongoing bank relationships, and bring new bank partnerships to Zero Hash
- Lead end-to-end stablecoin issuance reserve management operations
- Oversee the firm’s global Capital & Liquidity Risk Management framework, and incorporate into the firm’s Treasury Management Policy where applicable
- Lead day-to-day corporate cash management operations
- Coordinate daily liquidity needs, and maximize yield on cash / investment returns
- Build and oversee Zero Hash’s FX operations and implement appropriate policies and procedures governing FX activity
- Providing support to the Settlement & Trading Operations team, including asset custody reporting, process flow optimization, and financial risk management
- Build and maintain cash flow / liquidity forecasting models in collaboration with FP&A
- Work with Finance and Accounting to identify and manage day-to-day cash needs for inter-company transactions, AP, payroll, tax, debt servicing, and other financial obligations
- Implement controls and procedures governing corporate funds flows, bank account / platform access, etc
- Partner with CFO to manage firmwide capital planning and analysis
- Ensure Zero Hash is in compliance with all regulatory capital requirements, including legal entity capital requirements, and adherence to permissible investment requirements
- Enhance Zero Hash’s Treasury Management Policy as needed
- Provide input and guidance to Zero Hash’s Financial Risk Committee

This breadth of scope, in combination with Zero Hash’s API-driven business model, means its clients can access a competitively broad range of crypto products; and get them up and running competitively fast.
Zero Hash's gamble is that an increasing number of companies will be looking to offer crypto products to their customers, and it's being firmly vindicated. NFT minting, trading, and ownership has skyrocketed over recent years, and crypto trading has broken into the mainstream.
Despite the boom in crypto trading, November 2022's FTX crash has given way to a more cautious market. Internal controls, governance, and closer attention from regulatory bodies have somewhat slowed the pace of trading. As a global exchange though, Zero Hash is carving out a role for itself as a watchdog and overseer.
