Infrastructure Platform Software Engineer, Aiven

• Solid debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills
• Strong understanding of public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and distributed systems
• Excellent development skills in Go, Python, and Terraform
• Examples of ownership in designing and implementing technical deliverables in a team environment
• Urge to write useful automated tests
• Fluency in English, verbal and written

• We are looking for Infrastructure Platform Software Engineer to join our Infrastructure Platform team.
• In this role, you will be responsible for delivering key product features, identifying and fixing critical bugs, and improving the reliability and scalability of our platform
• You will work with programming languages Go and Python, and with technologies like HashiCorp Terraform and Nomad to enhance our infrastructure and developer experience

• Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure-related software using Go and Python
• Enhance the performance, observability, and scalability of our existing software
• Troubleshoot and resolve critical issues in our infrastructure and platform services
• Contribute to technical design of features, system architecture, and product roadmap
• Perform peer reviews and participate in technical discussions both at the team level, and across our engineering organization
