Who you are
- Our ideal candidate combines deep curiosity about eventually consistent distributed systems with strong financial infrastructure experience, thrives in highly regulated and mission-critical environments, and has a passion for diving into new problem spaces
- Minimum 1+ years of experience shipping high-quality architectures for critical systems preferred
- Proven experience with stablecoin technologies, blockchain-based payment rails, and/or wallet infrastructure
- Strong production experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or equivalent)
- Deep proficiency in at least one object-oriented or functional programming language (Python, Go, Java, or similar)
Desirable
- Intuition for on-chain UX and settlement mechanics, including wallet-based transaction signing, confirmation/finality, and chain-level tradeoffs like fees and latency
- Direct experience building on-chain wallets or with integrating a crypto onramp / offramp APIs for custody and remittance flows
- Experience integrating with external financial service providers and APIs at scale
- Familiarity with cross-border settlement, FX, or treasury management systems
- Background in highly regulated fintech environments (e.g., payments, banking, or government-compliant infrastructure)
What the job involves
- We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our engineering team with a dedicated focus on stablecoin-based payment and treasury systems
- In this role, you will act as both a technical owner and multiplier: working on core stablecoin services, ensuring secure and reliable integrations with external partners, and guiding Ramp’s evolution toward next-generation fintech solutions
- Help build & scale Ramp’s stablecoin-based payment and treasury infrastructure
- Partner with external providers and internal stakeholders to deliver end-to-end product flows
- Solve Ramp’s toughest fintech challenges with new technologies
- Collaborate with engineers across Ramp to integrate stablecoin capabilities into core products

The team that built Ramp is the same one that launched the automated price tracking company Paribus before selling it to Capital One. It is now focused on scoping out more M&A opportunities and boosting its headcount to support investing in its software and going into new verticals.
