Role
Who you are
- 5+ years of in-house experience as a Product Designer working on digital products, with significant focus on mobile apps (iOS & Android)
- A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product thinking, from discovery to execution, with clear impact
- Deep understanding of mobile design patterns, platform guidelines, and usability principles
- Experience in mentoring less seasoned designers as well as strong communication & facilitation skills, written and verbal
- Critical eye for high-craft design and desire to challenge the status quo and aim for UI excellence
- Experience using data to identify problems and communicate solutions
- Experience working directly with Visual and Product Designers, UX Researchers, and Writers
- Experience developing product goals, identifying opportunities, and making decisions based on the impact to people and the company
What the job involves
- The Product Designer team at AutoScout24 ensures that we create the right products to deliver delight to customers by working closely with cross-functional partners to establish best practices and processes, develop an end-to-end product rollout plan, align cross-functional stakeholders on strategy, track and communicate business metrics, and help scale product knowledge throughout the organisation
- We are currently looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our B2C team
- Set and maintain a high bar for mobile design craft, ensuring experiences are intuitive, accessible, and delightful
- Have an end-to-end responsibility for a specific product design experience
- Use data not just to justify decisions, but to identify problems, evaluate trade-offs, and iterate effectively
- Contribute to strategic decisions around the future direction of AutoScout24 mobile experience
- Advocate for mobile best practices across interaction design, motion, performance, and platform conventions
- Contribute to and evolve our design system, ensuring consistency across our mobile platforms
- Constantly push your limits and look for opportunities to improve
- Be an active part and contribute to our design community

AutoScout24 is an online classifieds platform for new and used vehicles that’s been expanding its reach across European markets for over two decades now. It has benefitted from an upswing in interest in used cars, taking advantage of this opportunity to grow and solidify its presence.
In 2024, the company further expanded its reach by acquiring Canada's Trader Corporation, showing it has an appetite for continued expansion. It also focused in on its C2B auction platform, AutoScout24 Direct, that enables individuals to sell their vehicles through an online auction to verified dealers.
