Who you are
- This is an ideal role for someone who is eager to develop deep operational expertise and grow within a fast-moving, mission-driven company
- Bachelors Degree
- 3+ years of experience in product operations, business operations, project coordination, or a related role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Comfort working with data, including experience with spreadsheets, dashboards, or basic analytics tools
- Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple workstreams and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Curiosity about technology and a desire to understand how software products are built and used
- Bonus: exposure to SaaS products, healthcare or veterinary tech, or customer-facing roles
What the job involves
- As a Product Operations Associate at Vetcove, you'll play a critical role in keeping our product teams running smoothly and efficiently
- You'll sit at the intersection of product, engineering, design, and customer-facing teams — helping translate user feedback into actionable insights, supporting product launches, and ensuring our processes scale as we grow
- Support Product Launches: Partner with product managers, onboarding, and support teams to coordinate go-to-market activities, create training materials, and track feature adoption post-launch
- Work with Integration Partners: Coordinate and lead discussions between integration partners and engineering teams and overseeing new integrations
- Synthesize User Feedback: Collect and organize qualitative feedback from clinics, pet parents, and internal stakeholders, and surface patterns and themes to inform product decisions
- Maintain Product Documentation: Draft and maintain product requirement documents, user stories, release notes, and internal process guides to ensure clarity across teams
- Track & Report on KPIs: Monitor product performance dashboards, flag anomalies, and compile regular reports to help product managers stay on top of key metrics
- Coordinate Cross-Functional Workflows: Help manage sprint planning logistics, backlog grooming, and cross-team communication to keep initiatives on track
- Support QA Processes: Assist with quality assurance testing, document bugs and edge cases, and help define acceptance criteria alongside product and engineering teams

Purchasing inventory for veterinary hospitals can be time-consuming and expensive, as finding the best prices requires a lengthy process of researching suppliers and comparing their prices. Whilst some comparison tools do exist for veterinary organizations, existing solutions do not take into account custom negotiations, GPOs or corporate pricing schemes, limiting the thoroughness of comparisons.
Vetcove provides an online marketplace for veterinary hospital inventory procurement, allowing clinics to reduce ordering times and costs through its free service. The company achieves this by allowing users to link their existing vendor accounts and list their custom pricing arrangements, helping inform a more accurate comparison ecosystem and boost supplier sales, whilst resolving supply chain limitations.
Whilst veterinary organizations already have access to the suppliers provided on Vetcove’s marketplace, the company stands out by integrating custom pricing arrangements into the comparison ecosystem. This helps to provide a more holistic and accurate overview of supply chain inventories and costs. Whilst the marketplace is free for veterinary clinics and organizations, the company charges suppliers to be listed.
