Role

Who you are

  • You have proven experience in organising and producing content for social channels - LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube shorts or TikTok and can demonstrate how you drove impact and value
  • You can create, script, edit and deliver content to an exceptional standard, translating complexity into simplicity
  • You are confident using video editing software, in-app creator tools and understand Figma enough to turn quick materials around as needed
  • You have experience in and understanding of how to create a story around product and product features
  • You have a genuine enthusiasm for the potential of the tem. brand and ideas for how you would evolve and maximise performance through storytelling and visual design
  • You are a collaborative creative, you aren't afraid of high-growth environments and bring a growth mindset and discipline to your work

Desirable

  • Experience working with or for a challenger brand, demonstrating an ability to innovate, disrupt markets, and deliver bold, customer-centric marketing strategies
  • Experience in managing social media communities
  • Experience working as a 'one-stop-shop' producer, handling all aspects of a project from concept to content delivery
  • You come with graphic design skills
  • You have a demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and upskilling

What the job involves

  • Organising and story-boarding video, reels, interview and animation content for tem. driving our content machine forward
  • Creating content that promotes and positions our product as a true challenger and disruptive alternative to the wholesale market of buying and selling energy today
  • Creating content that educates our communities and promotes new features to our customers
  • You will innovate and champion our channels to test the boundary of formats; newsletters, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube shorts and soon TikTok. You will analyse results, being accountable for your content’s impact
  • You will drive our content engine, creating content that responds to the needs and desires of our customers, this means you’re focusing on speed, iteration and output to deliver amazing growth and brand outcomes
  • You will be a driver of educational content campaigns, working alongside the marketing campaigns specialist and the CMO to build a conversation around renewable energy and traceability
  • You will support on graphic design requirements at times, including sales decks, PDFs or social carousel designs. We anticipate this to be 15% of your time

Our take

Tem is a next-gen energy transactions company that changes the way renewable energy is bought, sold and powered. Rebalancing the playing field away from "Big Energy", tem creates affordable, traceable and smart energy transaction management tools.

The company is still in its early stages, but it looks set to provide businesses and consumers access to the same financial benefits as Big Energy companies by distributing its own purchased energy to customers. Once they’re signed up, customers are matched with a suitable generator, and the tem platform helps execute contracts, take payments, and manage invoicing.

This is a truly disruptive concept - and could prove to be a successful one. Whilst UK consumers are notoriously hesitant to switch providers, recent soaring energy prices could lure many into giving it a go.

tem is going to get a run for it’s money, though. A similar platform in the US, Tesseract, is slated for launch around the same time, and with an ex-Revolut founder and handsome funding under its belt, is generating real buzz.
