- 8+ years experience in a role that requires rigorous business analytics and/or strategic thought with an Enterprise business focus (consulting, finance, business analysis, Product, etc.), a technical role (Solutions/Sales Engineer, Product Manager, etc.) or as a Founder
- Influential thinker, communicator, and SaaS thought leader who gains buy in from others in sensitive situations across all channels, mediums, and cultures
- Experience in designing engagements and partnership models for the C-suite
- Highly strategic problem solver
- Experience building advocacy and influence across internal stakeholders to drive successful outcomes
- Demonstrated indirect leadership experience, enabling a cross functional group to propel a growing initiative forward
- Demonstrated success owning significant outcomes for an organization
- Self-starter who can demonstrate development, growth and expansion of a territory
- Proven track record of effective outbound prospecting, managing sophisticated enterprise sales cycles and accurate pipeline management and forecasting
- Experience working cross functionally with sales engineering, data science, risk management, and customer success
- Expected travel 30%+
What the job involves
- As a Strategic E-commerce Partner, you won't be a typical salesperson. You'll be a strategic deal architect, a C-level whisperer, a market visionary, and a master storyteller
- You'll leverage your sharp analytical mind, your knack for uncovering hidden opportunities, and your commanding presence to:
- Craft bespoke strategies that redefine how the biggest retailers think about fraud prevention and revenue optimization
- Navigate complex organizations and build deep, trusted relationships with CFOs, CMOs, CDOs, and their teams
- Lead cross-functional powerhouses internally to deliver impactful solutions that drive 7-figure + deals
- Shape the future of our product by translating real-world challenges into actionable feedback for our innovation engine
- See your strategic brilliance translate directly into tangible results – new logos, expanded partnerships, and a transformed industry
- Develop, implement, and execute the vision, framework, and strategy to consistently acquire and grow new strategic customers across top strategic accounts, most of which manage business globally
- Serve as a credible SME for prospects, providing education, memorable engagements, compelling content, and thought leadership designed to provide value to prospects, create lasting relationships, and ultimately win new business
- Drive cross functional decision making include Enterprise priorities to design and implement a partnership model for Signifyd
- Lead a set of cross-functional, matrixed team members to orchestrate winning partnerships to exceed revenue targets
- Develop creative strategies and storytelling to drive engagement with prospects, using data and insights to overcome objections and craft a compelling value-based solution across multiple stakeholders
- Partner closely with Business Development, Solutions Engineering, Product, Finance, Customer Success, Data Science, Legal and other groups as needed to drive internal alignment
- Partner effectively with SE, CS, Product, Marketing and other teams to drive initiatives that support the needs of the prospect throughout the deal cycle
- Attend industry conferences, sponsored events, and on-sites and drive other creative penetration strategies in order to develop relationships with prospects and expand Signifyd’s network
Our take
The growth in eCommerce over the last 20 years has also caused a large rise in consumer fraud. To combat this, Signifyd provides an end-to-end platform for commerce protection.
Its solution targets issues such as money lost to chargebacks, customer dissatisfaction from mistaken declines, and operational costs due to tedious and manual transaction investigations. Its machine learning, data-driven approach helps businesses reduce false positives and wrongly declined orders, permitting them to make instant ship/don’t ship decisions and improve the experience for legitimate customers.
The company has raised significant funding in the past which has supported its development thus far. It has also secured impressive customers such as Samsung, Lenovo and Walmart.
