- Required 3-5 years experience in a Collections or Accounts Receivable role
- Required 3-5 years of experience with Salesforce (or comparable CRM and ERP systems)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication & presentation skills
- Preferred experience in Construction Industry
- Preferred experience in startup/small business environment
What the job involves
- Billd is seeking a Collections Associate who will be responsible for managing the Account Receivable portfolio of Billd customers
- Success in the role will be measured through the successful collection of overdue receivables while simultaneously providing a high level of customer support and satisfaction
- Provide a positive customer experience for Billd subcontractors
- Analyze and manage a dedicated Account Receivable portfolio
- Forecast upcoming Account Receivable issues from the current subcontractor portfolio
- Consistently follow up with past-due subcontractors to reconcile payment issues
- Clearly communicate with Property Owners and General Contractors about existing Subcontractor payment issues/disputes
- Provide weekly updates on Account Receivable portfolio aging & health to Management and other stakeholders (e.g Sales, Credit, Underwriting departments)
- Actively participate in Departmental discussions and propose improvement opportunities and policy updates
- Manage and maintain data integrity in Salesforce
