Strategic Account Executive, Xelix

• We are looking for a experienced Enterprise Strategic Account Executive who are excited to be part of the early sales team at a very fast-growing startup
• Importantly, we are not looking for Alpha, ‘gift of the gab’ type salespeople. Rather, we are excited to hire intelligent, thoughtful and reflective salespeople who build trust and meaningful connections with prospects
• 3+ years closing enterprise SaaS deals
• Expertise using MEDDICC or similar sales methodologies
• Experience managing long and complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
• Proven ability to self-source and generate pipeline
• Consecutive years of quota attainment at a technology company
• Experience selling into the CFO office

Desirable

• The role could develop into a leadership position, managing a team of AEs, or stay as an individual contributor role – closing our largest deals
• Serve as a consultative trusted advisor with a focus on developing and closing new business opportunities with prospective Xelix customer
• Manage a portfolio of prospects at various stages of sales cycle with leads developed by the Xelix partner network
• Conduct assessments to understand prospects pain-points and develop roadmap and business cases for their finance transformation using Xelix solutions
• Manage and forecast sales activity and opportunities by flawlessly executing the Xelix sales process and playbook
• Attend in-person meetings on client site, as well as industry events, such as user groups, trade shows and conferences to build and manage relationships with prospective and existing customer base
• Customer Segment Definitions:
• At Xelix, customer segments are defined by annual company revenue rather than employee count. As Xelix serves large organisations, these classifications differ from those commonly used in other businesses
• Mid-Market – Organisations with annual revenue of up to £1 billion
• Small Enterprise – Organisations with annual revenue between £1 billion and £5 billion
• Large Enterprise / Strategic – Organisations with annual revenue of £5 billion or more. These accounts are typically complex, involving multiple stakeholders, longer sales cycles, and global or multi-entity operations
• This is a full-time position, with standard working hours from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday

• While the exact process may vary slightly depending on the role, our typical interview stages are:
• Introductory Call – A short Teams conversation with a Talent Partner to discuss your background and the opportunity
• Hiring Manager Interview – A 30–45 minute Teams meeting to explore your experience and fit for the team
• Technical Task or Presentation – A role-relevant exercise to demonstrate your skills and approach
• Final On-site Interview – An in-person meeting with our senior leadership team and co-founders at our office
