Role
Who you are
- 3+ years of meaningful experience, travel/airline industry experience, is a plus
- Proven experience in account management or a related customer-facing role
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Strategic mindset coupled with a high attention to detail
- A self-starter with the ability to work both independently and in teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and very strong presentation abilities
- Fluency in English written and spoken
- Ability to manage projects of varying size simultaneously, while prioritising appropriately
- Ability to effectively collaborate with internal technical teams and interact with senior members of KAYAK leadership across globally located offices
- High proficiency in Excel and Google Suite
- BA/BS degree
- Travel required
What the job involves
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with our airline partners by acting as the primary point of contact, addressing inquiries, resolving issues and ensuring partner satisfaction
- Lead performance analysis and proactively identify growth opportunities tailored to partner needs and market trends, to drive optimised outcomes for both partners and internal collaborators
- Develop and execute account strategies, focusing on driving revenue growth and on delivering outstanding user experiences
- Foster a close internal collaboration across the organisation, partnering closely with commercial, engineering, finance, and product teams to set goals and deliver results
- Act as a trusted adviser across airline accounts, managing reporting, tracking, billing, operations, and optimisations with precision and insight
- Stay informed on the latest developments in the airline industry and monitor the competitive landscape, to craft and execute innovative ways to improve the company's market position
