Infrastructure Engineering Manager, Riot Games

• 3-5+ years professional experience as a network engineer
• 3-8 years (depending on degree); previous manager experience
• Experience collaborating across departments to create solutions
• Proficient with implementing Scrum/Agile development methodologies and ensuring adoption within the organization

Desirable

• As an Engineering Manager, you will report to our Sr Manager of Infrastructure engineering, overseeing the health and performance of the team
• You'll guide the team through designing scalable and sustainable solutions for routing, switching, and protecting Riot's Esports regions across multiple titles
• You'll help identify technical gaps and resourcing needs to increase efficiency and improve processes
• You will hire and grow the team as we develop fantastic new products that increase fan engagement on a global scale
• This role will require international travel as we support global events working inside and outside the US. Expected travel is up to 20% per year
• Ensure the team is building products that meet our high engineering standards
• Manage a team of network engineers
• Management duties include coaching, holding all accountable to best practices and their individual growth plans
• Foster a diverse and inclusive team where all members feel they have a voice and are welcome
• Oversee the technical health of the product and taking an active part in its design & implementation
• Build healthy relationships with other engineering teams at Riot to foster cross-team collaboration
• Mentor engineers in best practices for the current product phase
