Who you are
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language. We work in Rust and Python and expect you to have the foundation to quickly learn these languages
- At senior levels: experience in building and maintaining high-performance, scalable systems
- Proficient in leveraging modern LLM tools to accelerate development workflows and enhance code quality
- Ability to collaborate with others across multiple teams
- An aptitude to lead and work independently
- Ability to travel
- Flexibility to adjust to changing business priorities
- Curiosity and a drive to grow
- Ability to obtain security clearance
What the job involves
- Your responsibilities will span from conceptualizing and building innovative products from scratch (0 to 1) to enhancing and optimizing existing solutions as they evolve (1 to n)
- You will operate in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where you will have the opportunity to shape and set the standards for excellence
- You will work with a cross-functional team, including end-users, other engineers, and deployment strategists
- You will solve real problems that make a difference, providing decision-making tools to end users and improving the safety of our airspace

Bringing AI to the aerospace and defense sectors, Air Space Intelligence supplies an operating system to support human intelligence and help operators in the air domain make better and faster decisions.
The company's Flyways platform leverages AI to generate predictions even in rapidly changing environments, providing contextually relevant actions to human operators. Specifically designed for high-stakes decision making, Flyways' value lies in its ability to fuse and enrich large sets of spatial and temporal data, from which it generates a new "4D lookahead" of the most likely scenario every few seconds.
In 2023, the company secured $34M to fuel growth and expand its government presence. Building on this momentum, Air Space Intelligence has since partnered with Joby Aviation to support the integration of electric air taxis into the US National Airspace System, positioning Flyways at the forefront of advanced air mobility.
