What the job involves
- As a Senior Account Manager on Vetcove’s B2B accounts team, you’ll own relationships with one or more of our largest brand partners. These are leading animal health pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, diagnostic laboratory and prescription diet companies that keep our furry (and scaly) friends at peak health. They rely on Vetcove for a seamless, technology-enabled supply chain that gets America’s veterinarians the products they need to treat their patients
- Our partners also advertise and run campaigns on Vetcove, using our ecommerce technology, cash back campaigns, real-time loyalty measurement, visual analytics and sales enablement tools. You’ll be their main point of contact and make sure they get the most out of all of it. You’ll get to know each partner’s product portfolio and competitive position. Then you’ll work with our Data Scientists to shape campaign strategy, report on results and recommend what to do next. You’ll also train new stakeholders inside these large organizations and introduce partners to our newest tools, so the relationship grows deeper and opens new opportunities over time
- Act as the main point of contact for your partners’ day-to-day communication and account oversight
- Leverage data to build strategic media plans and proposals
- Project manage strategy implementation and campaign execution so every requirement and deadline is met
- Generate and analyze campaign reporting, and turn it into clear insights and recommendations that improve performance
- Lead business reviews and strategic check-ins virtually and on-site, to show the value partners get from Vetcove
- Build clear, compelling presentations that show results and recommendations
- Set meeting agendas, send follow-ups with next steps, and keep internal and external stakeholders on track
- Onboard new partners, train new and existing stakeholders on best practices, and address gaps before they become problems
- Gather partner feedback and share it with our product team
- Build long-term relationships so partners see Vetcove as a key part of their strategy
Our take
Purchasing inventory for veterinary hospitals can be time-consuming and expensive, as finding the best prices requires a lengthy process of researching suppliers and comparing their prices. Whilst some comparison tools do exist for veterinary organizations, existing solutions do not take into account custom negotiations, GPOs or corporate pricing schemes, limiting the thoroughness of comparisons.
Vetcove provides an online marketplace for veterinary hospital inventory procurement, allowing clinics to reduce ordering times and costs through its free service. The company achieves this by allowing users to link their existing vendor accounts and list their custom pricing arrangements, helping inform a more accurate comparison ecosystem and boost supplier sales, whilst resolving supply chain limitations.
Whilst veterinary organizations already have access to the suppliers provided on Vetcove’s marketplace, the company stands out by integrating custom pricing arrangements into the comparison ecosystem. This helps to provide a more holistic and accurate overview of supply chain inventories and costs. Whilst the marketplace is free for veterinary clinics and organizations, the company charges suppliers to be listed.
