Company mission
Fieldguide's mission is to increase trust in commerce and capital markets.
Role
Who you are
- Deep, hands-on social experience — you've personally run organic social strategy and execution for a brand: running the calendar, managing stakeholders, setting the cadence, and making platform-specific judgment calls
- A knack for translating complex subject matter — you can take dense, technical, or dry material and repurpose it into scroll-stopping content for native social formats
- An instinct for visual storytelling — you know how to pair copy with the right format (carousel, short video, graphic) without waiting on a designer for every post
- Innately curious —A team player who's comfortable being edited and iterating, and brings genuine curiosity about how audit and advisory professionals engage online
What the job involves
- We're hiring a Social Media and Content Manager to join the Fieldguide team
- You'll set the social strategy and own the content calendar that brings it to life, taking our product releases, thought leadership, and customer stories and rebuilding them into short form and serialized content, built to earn attention on a feed, while shaping how our biggest company moments show up on social from concept through execution
- You'll partner closely with our product and marketing teams to determine how and where we show up to the industry
- Set social strategy and own execution, from concept through the content calendar that carries them
- Repurpose and reconstruct long-form assets (blog posts, eGuides, research reports, webinars) into social-native formats
- Write and manage recurring short form content for subject-matter experts and functional leads — byline series, resource articles, and campaign-driven event and demand-gen copy
- Own and evolve the team's content systems: calendar, briefing templates, and social brand guidelines, as the function scales
- Work directly with demand gen, product, and the broader content and communications team to scope campaigns and content from concept through final delivery
Our take
Fieldguide offers a cloud-native collaboration and automation platform for accounting and advisory practices. The idea is to make workflow and collaboration more streamlined, and automate parts of it altogether, for teams working on cybersecurity, risk, and ESG audits.
Fieldguide has launched with a focus on three high-demand and high-growth areas of business. With cybersecurity and ESG in particular seeing increased corporate investment, thanks to the steep costs of error or regulatory non-compliance, demand for tech that can help manage this influx of auditing work is likely to grow fast. Indeed, Fieldguide received an impressive funding injection in 2024 that will help expand the kinds of audits its product applies to, as well as grow its team.
Fieldguide has already netted some key audit and advisory firms as clients, suggesting that the young company is onto something good. Internal productivity tools are booming across multiple industries, with automation also seeing a significant uptake for enterprise businesses. If Fieldguide can successfully manage its scale-up, it could become an important software player.
