Who you are

We've ranked some skills and experience that will make you succeed in this role and at Docfield:
Great:
You’ve spent years honing your technical skills, and now, you’re ready for the next big challenge
You have 8+ years of coding experience, including at least 3+ years of leading technical teams
You are experienced in managing infrastructure - particularly AWS environments with Terraform/Pulumi - and deployment processes
You're a great backend developer and architect, and have decent knowledge of Ruby on Rails
Good:
You have 5+ years of experience developing high-load and high-availability services in SaaS, E-commerce, or similar industries
Knowledge of Frontend JS frameworks, with React being a plus
You have a genuine passion for technology and like to stay up to date on the latest. You have a start-up mentality, understanding every role is very hands-on and scrappy
Your tech knowledge is insulated by your deep understanding of security principles, with experience in passing ISO 27001 being a plus

As a seasoned developer, you understand the power of clean code, reusable templates, and efficient workflows. You take it for granted this forms the basic building blocks of any well-functioning product
There’s a couple of things we want to communicate about the role and the operations within which it exists. Our goal is simple: to find someone with the expertise to deliver results and manage our team of developers with a genuine passion for the product we're building
Lead our talented development team in building a cutting-edge document management ecosystem that our customers love
Play a crucial role in scaling our product to new verticals, geographies, and use-cases. You’ll do so whilst expanding our tech stack
Directly influence how businesses manage their key legal documents from end-to-end, reducing errors and boosting efficiency across the board

Our take

Docflow specialises in the digitisation of corporate processes, providing the tools needed to streamline and manage collaborative workflows. The company’s innovative end-to-end document management system offers template designs and structures that save teams time by eliminating repetitive, error-prone processes.

While there is a vast range of automated document-creation platforms, Docflow’s platform is utilised by several impressive organisations and universities – including Utrecht University, Rotterdam University, Agilepoint, Viaa, and the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.

Looking forward, the company is focused on furthering the capabilities of its platform, with plans to launch a range of features including enhanced contract tools, new templates, and extended conditional logic. These enhancements, fuelled by its €1.3M seed round, will certainly help the company strengthen its position within the higher education market, as well as further its presence in other markets.
