Who you are
- You have successfully led a SME sales team, including; target setting and tracking, pipeline building and conversion
- You have proven experience in managing, hiring and resourcing high performers
- You have a strong ability in consultative selling
- You’re able to spot process gaps and deploy new processes, reporting or tools accordingly
- You understand how to gather customer feedback and to shape a value proposition accordingly
- All successful candidates are asked to complete a Basic DBS check along with other pre-employment checks (referencing & right to work)
What the job involves
- We are hiring for a Business Development Lead to lead our Small-to-Medium Enterprise sales team in order to drive new ARR with both GP practices and Community Services. The team is made up of SDRs and AEs responsible for driving and closing new opportunities respectively
- Inspire commercial growth in the team by uncovering impactful opportunities that drive business growth and deliver value to healthcare organisations through market insights, strategic prospecting, and transformative partnerships
- Scope opportunities, mitigate risks, and craft clear, actionable strategies while collaborating with stakeholders to ensure alignment and deliver results
- Drive team success with tailored coaching, feedback, and professional development, fostering a culture of continuous growth and achievement
- Optimise sales excellence leading the sales process with proactive strategies, creative solutions, and customer-aligned approaches to deliver impactful outcomes
- Cultivate trust and strong relationships with customers, partners, and peers while fostering collaboration across the organisation to fuel growth
- Align Accurx’s offerings with customer challenges to create long-term value, strengthening partnerships and driving success
- Support negotiations with integrity, empowering teams to secure sustainable agreements that position Accurx as a trusted, essential partner

Communication between patients and nurses/doctors has typically happened via telephone call or post. This outdated technology is costly and doesn't provide a great experience. Accurx solves this problem with its communication and collaboration platform.
Accurx is building tools that allow GPs and other healthcare providers to communicate more efficiently with their patients and with each other in order to deliver top-quality care. Its products are now used in over 95% of GP practices. This is testament to the value of Accurx's platform.
Since raising considerable funding, Accurx has been focused on growing its team and developing its products, including batch messaging between clinics and patients, to help care sites ease the burden of long wait lists and understaffing. With these challenges continuing to mount for the health system, Accurx is likely to remain in high demand for the foreseeable future.
