Who you are

  • 3+ years of sourcing experience in tech companies, with a proven ability to build talent maps and high-impact strategies
  • Highly organised and systems-oriented: Ability to create processes that benefit the team and improve recruitment effectiveness
  • Market mapping & research expertise: Experience sourcing across multiple countries and regions
  • Fast assessment skills: Ability to quickly assess candidate suitability and provide timely feedback to hiring teams
  • Outreach campaign experience: Proven track record in building relationships with candidates across different functions at scale
  • Proficiency in sourcing tools & AI platforms: Expertise in LinkedIn Recruiter, advanced search techniques, and talent intelligence platforms (including Boolean search)

  • Previous experience in an early-stage or fast-scaling recruitment function

What the job involves

  • As a Senior Talent Acquisition Sourcer, you’ll balance immediate hiring needs with long-term sourcing strategies—switching between quickly identifying top talent for open roles and building scalable sourcing processes
  • You’ll leverage data, market intelligence, and innovative engagement methods to map the technology industry, create talent pipelines, and drive recruitment excellence, ensuring Relay’s future growth
  • Support immediate hiring needs: Quickly identify, engage, and calibrate talent for active roles while collaborating with recruiters and hiring managers on role requirements and sourcing strategies
  • Screening & Candidate Engagement: Own initial outreach and screening, ensuring a strong candidate experience before passing them to recruiters
  • Tech Recruitment Focus: Support the Tech Recruitment team by sourcing, engaging, and nurturing high-quality talent using our ATS (Ashby)
  • Sourcing Roadmap: Assist with impactful sourcing projects, outreach cadence, and content strategy to meet recruitment goals
  • Ensure repeatability: Develop sourcing efforts that are reusable, enabling the team to leverage research and tools for long-term hiring success
  • Assist with full-cycle recruitment when needed

Our take

In recent years, e-commerce has grown considerably. Despite this, the retail sector is still in the early innings of digital disruption in the US and the UK (especially when compared to more digitally mature markets such as China).

Relay enables e-commerce through re-wiring the critical delivery infrastructure to address the growth of e-commerce in the UK. Not only do they enable orders of magnitude better delivery in speed and cost for retailers and consumers, but they are also doubling down on making sure their ecosystem of delivery drivers and the planet benefit.
