Role
Who you are
- 5+ years of experience in AI and machine learning technologies, especially LLMs and code generation models
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and Python
- Solid understanding of APIs, RESTful architecture, and API design principles
- Familiarity with modern backend frameworks, databases, and scalable service architectures
- Experience working with data vectorization, embedding technologies, and agentic systems
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines
- Deep product sensibility with a focus on impact and user experience
- Familiarity with tools and approaches used in building products like Devin and Cursor AI is a plus
- Self-starters who take ownership and thrive in ambiguous environments
- Craftsmanship with an understanding of balancing quick iteration with code longevity in 0-1 products
- Passion for building tools that empower developers
- Strong collaboration skills and a growth mindset
- Experience working on greenfield projects and enthusiasm for exploring new technologies
What the job involves
- As an early team member, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the product’s vision and direction. You will engage deeply with users, drive successful adoption, and influence the team's growth and evolution
- Apply and improve on cutting-edge AI models for code generation from API designs and specifications
- Implement and optimize AI-powered code generation pipelines and tooling
- Work collaboratively in a small, fast-paced team with rapid iteration cycles
- Research and integrate state-of-the-art techniques for program synthesis and code automation
- Actively participate in product discovery and iterative design cycles
