Who you are
- 2+ years experience in a business development or account executive role.
- Interest or experience in the tech sector or of the technology field (saas).
- You care about customer experience and delivering customer value.
- Empathetic written communication skills and confident communicator, particularly over video.

- Someone who's looking to find and solve problems, not waiting to be given their next task.
- A track record of grit and no ego, no second thoughts about getting your hands dirty.

What the job involves
- Pick up, run and improve (maybe tear up) the Zinc sales playbook.
- Execute the sales process, delivering demos and working closely with customers everyday.
- Immerse yourself in the customer journey; identify with and incorporate Zinc's tone of voice.
- Speaking & selling to talent acquisition/HR leaders within fast growing companies.
- Own the business development process, from end-to-end. Generating leads through written outbound activity, delivering demo’s and looking after customers through the buying process.
- Deliver demo’s to inbound leads that come from marketing, there is a steady flow.
- Work closely with founders on campaigns, refine and implement your own new ideas.

These include the introduction of the first reusable global Right To Work check, the first Employment verification reference integrated with HMRC, and a background check template library collaboratively contributed to by over 40 Zinc Work customers. This financial injection underscored Zinc's commitment to innovation and reinforced its positon as a trailblazer in the realm of automated reference and background chec king solutions.
