Role
Who you are
- 5+ years of experience in customer lifecycle marketing
- Data driven - you can tell a story of how your work impacted the bottom line
- Demonstrated ability to use marketing to increase customer retention, engagement and satisfaction
- Knowledge of best practices surrounding effective messaging, funnel optimization, email marketing, customer segmentation and testing strategies
- Experience in creating marketing and customer enablement material at scale
- Expertise in email marketing and marketing automation tools
- Bonus if you have successfully scaled a customer referral program, have experience driving adoption of new products and features, and / or have a proven ability to grow revenue from existing accounts
What the job involves
- Closinglock is hiring our first Customer Lifecycle Marketing Manager to own and optimize our customer journey—from onboarding to ongoing engagement
- In this strategic individual contributor role, you'll develop targeted campaigns to drive product usage, engagement, and retention, working closely with sales, customer success, operations, and product teams to align our approach
- This position offers significant growth potential, allowing you to shape our customer experience in a rapidly growing organization
- Design and optimize onboarding, training, and engagement journeys to ensure post-purchase success
- Ensure GTM success and drive product adoption and engagement by communicating new products and features
- Build automated customer journeys based on usage to boost product adoption
- Develop impactful and elegant onboarding and ongoing customer enablement material to allow our teams to deliver the greatest impact
- Create and execute lifecycle campaigns from strategy to launch, with clear goals and performance metrics
- Craft targeted customer communications across channels like email, in-product messaging, and events
- Map the customer journey for cross-functional visibility and continuous optimization
- Segment customer database for tailored campaigns and messaging
- Develop content assets, collaborating with copy and design to enhance campaigns
- Promote customer advocacy with referral programs and engage through newsletters, events, and more
- Utilize innovative tools and technologies to uplevel the customer experience
- Work closely with sales, account management, and product teams to enhance customer experience, engagement, and retention
Our take
Wire fraud accounts for an estimated $1 billion dollars every year within real estate, and the prevalence of this kind of fraud is on the rise. ClosingLock is aiming to stop this, by providing secure communications and a payment platform to real estate business.
Most wire fraud in this industry is committed via email hacks, so ClosingLock’s initial product was a secure portal for payment communications, but it has since grown. The company now offers docs-sharing and loan verifications on its platform as well, marketing itself as the do-it-all payment security platform for real estate.
Its model has been successful, with over $100 billion In transaction value in its first four years. But there are other companies offering fraud prevention services - rival Pondurance offers a data/expert-integrated fraud detection service, though not specifically aimed at the real estate industry. ClosingLock hasn’t quite cornered the market, but it is building up to be a strong player.
