Who you are
- This role demands a blend of analytical acumen, technical expertise, and business partnership skills, and requires a solid background in sales analytics
- Experience: At least 4 years of experience in sales analytics, consulting, investment banking, or an equivalent function, demonstrating proficiency in developing and implementing advanced analytical models and strategies that drive pipeline and revenue growth
- Technical Skills: Deep familiarity with SQL, data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau), and experience with Python/R for data analysis and Salesforce data schemas; experience in DBT is preferred
- Analytical Thinking: Strong capability to analyze complex data sets, extract key insights, and translate them into actionable sales strategies that drive business impact
- Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively and establish relationships with business partners, especially with the heads of Sales, Ops, and Finance
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex data insights in a comprehensible and engaging manner
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Business, or related fields. A Master’s degree or higher is advantageous

- In your role as a Senior Analyst, GTM Analytics at Vanta, you will be at the forefront of enhancing our sales strategy through in-depth analysis and insights
- Our objective is to provide strategic insights through rigorous analysis, supporting and influencing informed decision-making in Sales
- We ensure the business has sufficient self-serve tooling and dashboards to facilitate the first level inspection of trends and data
- We are dedicated to delivering meaningful insights to improve sales performance, tracking and analyzing key metrics, and empowering partners to identify trends
- Committed to excellence, we explore and utilize cutting-edge analytics techniques and tools to enhance our outputs
- You'll be instrumental in developing sophisticated forecasting models, surfacing productivity drivers, and measuring the success of various sales initiatives
- This position is a key contributor to Vanta's growth, requiring both strategic insight and hands-on analytical prowess
- Collaborate with Key Stakeholders: Form strong partnerships with the heads Sales, Finance, and Central RevOps teams to align on key metrics and goals, and ensure collaborative success
- Develop Self-Service Tools: Create and maintain robust self-service tools and dashboards for trend analysis and decision-making
- Deliver Strategic Insights: Conduct comprehensive data analysis of quota-carrying performance to identify critical risks and opportunities
- Automate Deliverables: Streamline operating review deliverables to drive consistency and reduce cycle time
- Partner with Sales: Enable key stakeholders on insights produced and provide data-driven recommendations to improve sales outcomes
- Enhance Predictive Analytics: Develop and implement propensity and prediction models to provide our sales team with early insights into upsell opportunities, new prospects, and churn risk, enabling faster and more efficient action
- Evolve Analytical Capabilities: Partner with Data Engineering to shape the roadmap and development of datasets, continuously enhancing our analytical capabilities

The security auditing process is usually very time-consuming, taking hours to complete, and it is often difficult for start-ups to invest time into such a process. Yet, the benefits of security accreditation are enormous, mainly as many such businesses are working globally and need ways to demonstrate security compliance to one another. Vanta works specifically with start-ups to help them complete and pass security audits such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
The company is a compliance portal and security monitoring platform that businesses use to assess their risk levels. Vanta carries out a pre-audit of a company's digital security and highlights areas that need to be worked on before a full analysis of all threats is carried out. Other businesses such as Datadog or PagerDuty offer similar security monitoring services, but Vanta monitors its customers throughout the year, allowing any issues to be identified and addressed early on.
Vanta has found a valuable cybersecurity niche within the giant SaaS market. Companies such as Lattice, Clubhouse, and Calm are all customers, demonstrating a growing trend for companies to manage their cybersecurity proactively, which Vanta should be able to take advantage of to further grow and develop into the future.
