Role
Who you are
- The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years of experience that started in investment banking, management consulting, or transaction advisory, and time in an FP&A, Strategy or Operations seat at a scaling company
- They have hands-on experience building financial models from scratch and partnering cross-functionally to translate analysis into decisions
- Experience in SaaS, legal tech, or marketplace businesses is highly valued
- You are intellectually curious and analytically relentless. Hand you a problem and you figure it out - you don't wait for a fully scoped brief or a clean data set. Hand you a large, messy data dump and you come back not just with a summary, but with a thoughtful analysis, the right questions to pressure-test it, and a clear recommendation on what to do next
- You communicate with precision. You can take a complex, multi-layered issue and explain it in a way that a cross-functional partner actually understands - without flattening the nuance. You know when to go deep and when to zoom out, and you tailor the depth to the audience and the decision at hand
- You think like an internal consultant in training. You're the person teammates pull in when a problem is messy and doesn't have an obvious owner - because you can structure the question, build the analytical case, and drive it toward a recommendation that actually changes how a team operates
What the job involves
- The interesting questions don't live in the P&L – They live in how jobs get scheduled, how providers get paid, how firms get invoiced, and how product usage ladders up to revenue — and you'll be the one connecting those dots
- High-leverage, high-visibility work – You'll run cross-functional analyses end-to-end, build models leadership relies on, and turn analysis into real-time decisions on staffing, pricing, and resource allocation
- Cross-functional and collaborative – Partners closely with Sales, Operations, and Product to diagnose what's actually happening upstream before it shows up in the financials
- Built for analytical builders – You'll own meaningful pieces of the FP&A cycle, develop the narrative behind the numbers, and grow the scope of this role over time
- You'll report directly to the Director of Strategic Finance and work cross-functionally across the organization
