Company mission
Nitra’s mission is to overhaul the healthcare industry with radically efficient and transparent solutions.
Role
Who you are
- 2+ years of experience in product management, associate product management, product operations, or a related role with exposure to product development
- Experience working on or shipping B2B software or fintech products and features
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to turn ambiguous customer feedback into clear, actionable product requirements
- Comfort working with data, including experience with SQL or BI tools, and a habit of using metrics to guide decisions
- Curiosity about how businesses operate, particularly how money and people move through an organization
- An ownership mindset, strong organizational skills, and the ability to execute in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
What the job involves
- A Product Manager to help build Nitra’s payroll, recruiting, and workforce management products for healthcare practices. You’ll work directly with practice owners and operators to understand their needs, translate customer feedback into product requirements, and partner with engineering and design to ship solutions that simplify how healthcare businesses pay, hire, and manage their teams
- Own product discovery by interviewing practice owners, office managers, and controllers to understand existing payroll, hiring, and staffing workflows
- Translate customer insights into clear product requirements, PRDs, tickets, and MVP scopes. Prioritize the backlog in partnership with engineering and design
- Build and launch payroll features that integrate with Nitra’s cards, BillPay, and accounting products, including payroll funding, tax filing, and general ledger synchronization
- Evaluate, integrate, and manage third-party partners across payroll, background checks, job boards, and credentialing
- Develop recruiting and workforce management workflows for clinical and front-desk roles, including job postings, applicant tracking, onboarding, and shift coverage
- Partner with compliance and cross-functional teams to address payroll tax, wage-and-hour, and employment requirements across states
- Define and track product success metrics, including activation, payroll adoption, time-to-hire, and shifts filled, using data to inform product decisions
- Partner with sales and customer success to support product launches, demos, and customer-facing materials
Our take
Nitra is attempting to play a part in the reshaping of the archaic financial systems we all interact with today, specifically targeting the inefficiencies of the US healthcare system. To do this, it is bringing transformational and disruptive digital finance to thousands of healthcare professionals struggling with complex medical business processes that do not align well with traditional forms of credit.
Nitra started with a credit card built specifically for doctors and has since expanded its offerings to include expense management, product inventory management, and lending services. Its all-in-one platform is powered by machine learning and blockchain technologies, bringing physicians and medical clinics around the country the financial services they need and deserve.
Its vision is clearly an ambitious one, but one that has resonated with healthcare professionals and investors alike. Substantial funding awarded in 2025 and 2026 is being used to scale the team and accelerate growth, all while launching its new products. Nitra also continues to add to the many benefits that come with the Nitra Visa Business Card, ensuring it remains a strong option for its users.
