- A portfolio demonstrating strong visual design skills and the ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to lead design and execution across a range of marketing assets including landing pages, decks, in-person events, and large-scale campaigns
- Ability to drive multiple projects simultaneously with a focus on craft, quality, and attention to detail
- Experience executing across a range of formats and mediums while maintaining a high bar for craft and quality
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a small, passionate team environment
- Proven ability to work directly with stake holders and lead projects end-to-end; we don’t have PMs
- Plus: Experience with motion design and video editing
- Big plus: Experience designing a developer-focused audience
What the job involves
- As a Senior Brand Designer at Baseten, you’ll lead and define our brand and visual identity - ranging from marketing assets, landing pages, event materials, billboards, and large-scale campaigns
- You’ll collaborate closely with marketing and sales to execute on deliverables while working closely with design to build a cohesive brand that integrates across all channels
- Develop and maintain a cohesive brand that clearly communicates Baseten's value and story
- Collaborate closely with marketing and sales to drive alignment and delivery of high-quality, impactful work
- Align and refine Baseten's visual identity across product and marketing
- Play a key role in establishing Baseten’s design culture, design processes and upholding high bar for product and design quality

The tools that Baseten build demolish the need for businesses to hire specialised engineers, utilising the huge strides in artificial intelligence that we’ve seen in the last few years, all without adding workload to businesses.
With serious funding behind it, Baseten has grown its team by three times year-over-year over the last five years. Specifically, it's hired across engineering and marketing, gaining talent from companies such as GitHub, Google, Uber, Amazon, and Palantir. Part of Baseten's focus is on helping companies implement the tools that they have at their disposal, a long-overlooked aspect of machine learning that many businesses have been eager to champion, but are uncertain about how to actually use.
Simplifying the complex world of artificial intelligence for business is no mean feat, but with hundreds of millions in funding behind it and a $5 billion valuation reported in 2026, the company is well on its way to market domination. What's more, the three founders, who met whilst working as engineers at Gumroad, have a lot of experience in navigating this gap in the market.
