Role
Who you are
- Tide is looking for a French-speaking Senior Marketing and SEO Copywriter who can help us shape Tide’s voice in the French market - delivering unique, engaging marketing content that drives organic traffic and leads
- You will be working in our Marketing Team, using your content writing skills and experience to help acquire new members for Tide and build our brand recognition in a new market
- You’re a native or fluent French speaker with strong English skills, able to translate English briefs into engaging French content
- You have 4+ years of experience creating marketing copy across platforms like blogs, UX, and social media
- You have experience in Fintech, Tech, or Finance, with a track record of brand-building in these sectors
- You’re skilled at leading teams, setting best practices, and delivering high-quality content at pace
- You’re an effective collaborator with cross-functional teams to deliver campaigns aligned with brand strategy
- You thrive in fast-paced environments, and can manage multiple projects with tools like JIRA or Trello
What the job involves
- At Tide, our Content Team plays a crucial role in driving our mission to empower small businesses
- We combine creativity with data-driven insights to craft engaging, SEO-optimised content that speaks to our audience and enhances our online presence
- Every day brings new challenges as we simplify complex, technical concepts and turn them into captivating copy that drives growth across multiple channels, including SEO, Paid Search, Email Marketing, and Out-of-Home campaigns
- This position offers a unique opportunity as one of the first key hires in support of Tide’s launch into the French market
- Establishing our French tone of voice
- Develop a glossary of approved French terminology
- Ensure our content and brand voice consistently meets high standards across all touch points
- Shape the way we communicate with our French audience
- Contributing directly to launching our first French website
- Provide copywriting and translation expertise across various departments, including marketing and UX
- Analyse data - from keyword research to website analytics - to create compelling content that drives organic traffic and conversions
- Turn technical information into simple, compelling messaging that converts
- Spearheading the creation of effective processes and workflows
- Help Tide successfully launch products and marketing campaigns in France
- Play a key role in planning, managing, and scaling a team of French content specialists as the French market grows
- Build and maintain effective working relationships and processes across marketing and the wider business to improve the copy team’s efficiency and output

Since its launch Tide has gained considerable traction among small businesses. This is largely thanks to their fast onboarding times, low fees and the diversity of their products, which include a number of accountancy tools. Headed up by a former RBS, C&A and Optanus executive, Tide is uniquely positioned within the financial services market.
Having built a strong user base of over 500,000 in the UK, Tide has since launched in India, where it has an additional 50,000 users. Through further expansion into Europe and continual addition of 'first-of-its-kind' features, Tide is well set to secure a larger market share.
