Community Associate, Encode Club

Desirable

• As a Community Associate, you are the central point of contact for our members and the face of the Encode Hub. You will be instrumental in creating a vibrant, productive, and welcoming environment for our community of AI and Web3 pioneers
• Reporting to our Head of Bizops, you will ensure the space runs seamlessly, support our members in their daily endeavours, and play a key role in fostering the collaborative spirit that defines Encode Club
• Your work is vital to our mission of empowering builders by ensuring the Hub is not just a place to work, but a community to belong to ❤️
• This is a hands-on role. You’ll be the first one in each morning, making sure everything is set just right. Throughout the day, you’ll keep things running smoothly, make people feel welcome, and help create a warm, lively environment
• Running the space: Open the Hub daily, keep it tidy and inviting, manage office logistics (snacks, coffee, tech gear, mail), and make sure it’s looking and feeling great for members. Got a fun, wacky idea to improve the vibe? We want it. You’ll have space to experiment and shape the atmosphere
• Helping people out: Be the go-to person for Hub members. From welcoming new joiners to answering questions, managing meeting rooms, or troubleshooting the odd tech issue - you’ll be the one everyone turns to
• Being hands-on: Whether it’s assembling furniture, fixing something small, or jumping in for a last-minute setup - this role involves a bit of lifting, moving, building, sorting and most importantly problem solving
• Planning great events: From casual breakfasts to bigger community gatherings, you’ll help organise and run events that bring the space to life. Help make our events feel smooth, special, and community-led
• Bringing people together: You’ll build genuine relationships with members and help spark connections between them. The goal is to make the Hub feel like a second home - somewhere people genuinely enjoy showing up to!
