  • 6+ years of experience in partner marketing in the B2B SaaS space, preferably focused on SMB and Mid-Market segments
  • Proven track record of creating and executing successful partner marketing programs and building win-win relationships with partners
  • Strong organizational and strategic thinking skills, the ability to work independently, and the capacity to effectively manage multiple projects
  • Courage to take the initiative, pilot and evaluate new program types
  • Deep understanding of the customer journey through and with a partners
  • Cross-functional leadership and experience driving alignment across different teams
  • Hands-on experience with GTM & digital marketing tools, such as Salesforce, Marketo, Google Analytics, Looker

What the job involves

  • This role will require working closely with partner, marketing, and sales teams to implement campaign plans with strategic partners. The ideal candidate has solid experience in partner marketing programs and an intuitive understanding of demand generation and product marketing fundamentals
  • Strategy: Create strategies to fuel growth across partner ecosystem, inform partner prioritization and develop joint marketing plans to drive product sign-ups and revenue
  • Execution: Own campaign execution together with partners (i.e. email, webinars, events, in-product activations, paid social, etc.) and identify the budget and resources required
  • Messaging: Craft compelling copy used in co-marketing programs in collaboration with partners, product marketing and content team
  • Innovation: Identify and pilot new initiatives with partners using marketing development funds to maximize revenue and increase sign-ups
  • Stakeholders: Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners and collaborate closely with internal teams to integrate partners into the Go-To-Market strategy and campaigns
  • Analytics: Measure performance and conduct analysis to assess and communicate the performance of co-marketing activities identifying areas for improvement

Our take

Checkr addresses the unpleasant and time consuming process of background checks so that companies using on-demand employees can make safer, more informed hiring decisions in less time. Background checks are a critical part of the hiring process, and CEO Daniel Yannisse noticed that they were painfully slow, resulting in loss of work for candidates and productivity downturns for employers.

Before Checkr entered the market in 2014 with its innovative AI technology and a solid $50m in venture capital funding, companies were waiting upwards of two weeks for their checks. Checkr substantially reduces this time frame and has grown to receive a $5 billion valuation.

Checkr has accelerated growth by making several highly advantageous acquisitions of competitor companies GoodHire and Inflection. As the world of work embraces diversity and inclusion, the company announced an end-to-end service for candidates wishing to expunge their criminal records, furthering the company’s ‘fair chance’ mission and clearing 1000s of candidates for free since 2021. New products launched at the end of 2023 include Checkr Pay (providing access to payment right after a shift) and Checkr Onboard (unified onboarding processes), exemplifying how Checkr is keeping pace with a rapidly changing, flexible, and mobile-first workforce.
