Role
Who you are
- Have a strong technical background and a practical understanding of how attackers operate in real-world scenarios. You are comfortable working across different domains and adapting your approach based on the target and objectives
- Have 5+ years of hands-on experience in offensive security (red teaming and/or penetration testing)
- Have a strong understanding of modern attack techniques and methodologies
- Are experienced working with cloud environments and modern applications
- Can identify and chain vulnerabilities into meaningful attack scenarios
- Have scripting or programming experience
- Have a curious mindset and a passion for security
- Are a team player who is also comfortable working independently when needed
- Speak fluent English, as this is our corporate language

What the job involves
- You will join our Offensive Security team within Ghost Labs in Europe
- The team consists of experienced ethical hackers who work across a wide range of offensive security engagements
- As a Senior Security Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering advanced security assessments, simulating real-world attack scenarios, and helping our customers understand and reduce their risk
- You will work across different environments and technologies, including cloud platforms, applications, and emerging areas such as AI-driven systems
- Delivering offensive security engagements, including penetration testing and advanced red team engagements, leveraging frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK and TIBER-EU/DORA
- Identifying and exploiting vulnerabilities across a wide range of environments and technologies
- Supporting complex security assessments that require creative and non-standard approaches
- Collaborating with team members on challenging scenarios and actively contributing to knowledge sharing
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of our tools, methodologies, and overall offensive security capabilities

Outpost24 was founded in 2001 to help companies manage the growing threat of cyber criminals by assessing and testing an organisation's IT vulnerabilities and providing visibility of the assets at risk so that security holes can be closed before they are exploited by bad actors.

However, Outpost24 has managed to carve out a place for itself with a focus on security testing rather than becoming distracted by diversifying into other solutions. It is also the only company to offer full coverage across network, device, web, cloud data and user security in a single package. This approach has stood it in good stead for over 20 years and garnered it a client base of over 2,500 customers including HMV, BBC Worldwide and The Belgian National Lottery.
Outpost24 was acquired by Vitruvian Partners in 2022. With the injection of funding provided by its new parent company, Outpost24 is accelerating its product development and increasing its marketing efforts. While it is a significant business in the European and US markets, it is aiming to grow its market share and expand internationally in the near future.
