Who you are
- Bachelor's degree
- Proven experience in strategic selling, product management, or a related role
- Strong understanding of market dynamics and trends in the FM+E

What the job involves
- As GTM Lead for Experimentation at LaunchDarkly, you will be a key player in leading our experimentation product and revenue strategy
- This role requires a blend of selling knowledge, expertise in experimentation, passion for Product, and deep customer curiosity
- You will work closely with our Product leadership team, Product Managers, and Account teams to grow LaunchDarkly’s experimentation ARR through our next phase of commercialization and activation
- Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for a mature experimentation product
- Develop ICP target list based on usage data, firmographic, and industry data
- Create reference customers of by actively engaging with customers and partners, identifying needs, and connecting new products to customers' pain points
- Develop reference customers through strong relationships, VC networking, and our Customer Advisory Board
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate new product opportunities
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and other teams to ensure effective product growth and adoption
- Work with RevOps to set ambitious sales targets and develop strategies to achieve and exceed them while we launch products for FY26
- Communicate effectively across departments to align goals and objectives
- Research and network to form frameworks for new markets, perception of value, and propensity to buy
- Attend Forecast calls, join customers' calls, and identify and unblock customer challenges to ensure new products are successfully standardized across the field and adopted by customers
- Develop Target 100 ICP accounts for New Products, and partner with account teams to develop, close and activate Lighthouse customers in the Target 100 list
- Partner with our Marketing and BDR organizations to deliver product campaigns
- Build strong relationships with key customers to understand their requirements, communicate requirements to Product leadership with assigned commercial impact
- Partner with PMM and Enablement to build material and playbooks to standardize new product sales plays
- Design playbooks for the field to run discovery, objections, and paths to success to win New Products
- Develop a plan with PS and Partner leaders to extend reach with target partners and professional services offerings for New Products
Our take
Feature flags are a powerful software development tool, allowing teams to modify system behavior without changing code, therefore minimizing risk. If a business has a new feature they want to test, they can then roll it out to a small set of users before letting it go live. These companies can, for example, get quick feedback on the new feature and fix any bugs, or roll back any changes.
LaunchDarkly allows companies to run tests like this by activating the new code for only a small set of users prior to launch. Typically running these tests requires lots of developer time - a daunting and expensive prospect for most rapidly growing businesses - and can risk disruption to the user experience if testing takes place on the live product.
The platform is used by more than 1,500 customers, including the likes of IBM, Intuit and Atlassian. Signalling a change in strategy, the company shook up its management in 2023 and is now aiming to scale its already strong growth under the leadership of Dan Rogers, a product and marketing specialist with an impressive track record at Rubrik, AWS and Microsoft. It is now well poised to develop into a leading business in the feature management space.
