What the job involves

Develops, analyzes and maintains tools that support and automate processes for hardware or software product release
Writes installation scripts and programs for installation of products
Works with project teams to determine an appropriate build schedule and then initiates the build and packaging process
Compiles and assembles software from source code
Ensures tools are stored in source control
Supports developers for software package registry and delivery
Works with others to complete analysis, evaluations and design alternatives and to implement process improvements
Works with development engineers to correct build errorsRecognized subject matter expert with specialized knowledge in the function
Manages large projects or processes

Coaches, reviews and delegates work to lower level professionals

Alteryx brings a suite of tools to automate data driven processes on a large scale, massively speeding up data based procedures. The system also uses AI to analyse data and provide insights to enable rapid decision making.

What Alteryx does differently from other data science tool developers is focus on the accessibility of its software, taking a low code/no code approach. This allows for greater collaboration between people with differing skill sets, speeding up processes for its users.

The business has made some strategic partnerships over time, most notably with Snowflake and Blue Prism. And with AI becoming more, Alteryx is projected to make major inroads in its market as more companies turn to automated solutions for data analysis.
