What the job involves

We are looking for a Web Engineer Intern to join the Tools & Portals team within Epic Online Services. Tools & Portals builds the software, platforms, and digital experiences that enable Epic’s internal teams, player support operations, players, and external developers to work with and access Epic services more effectively
You will contribute to production systems across the full stack while gaining hands-on experience with modern web development, backend services, cloud infrastructure, and AI-assisted software development
Build full-stack features using React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS with guidance from the team
Contribute to development of backend services and APIs using Next.js, NestJS, and Node.js
Learn and apply development practices for production infrastructure including AWS, Kubernetes, containers, and CI/CD pipelines
Write, test, review, and deploy production code alongside experienced engineers
Learn and apply AI-assisted software development workflows throughout the software development lifecycle
Contribute to internal tools and developer-facing platforms used across Epic Games
