Role
Who you are
- 2+ years of experience in operations management, program management, business operations, or similar roles - ideally in a fast-growing tech or biotech company
- Track record of implementing and improving company processes
- Strong stakeholder management experience
- Ability to work in an agile and flexible environment where processes may be unclear or need to be developed
- Experience with operational/project management software and systems
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Desirable
- Experience in biotech or healthcare industries
- Experience with vendor contracts renewals, vendor oversight, license renewals, CDA
- Experience managing external partnerships or investor relations
- Track record of implementing process improvements in a startup environment
- Background in agile project management methodologies
- A collection of questionable science puns
What the job involves
- Oversee and optimize core business operations, from office management to external relationships
- Manage company benefits and HR programs
- Locating gaps in processes, developing processes and process improvements for the company
- Lead operational budgeting and resource allocation
- Support team growth through improved onboarding and administrative processes
- Support strategic planning and company growth initiatives
- This role will report directly to one of the co-founders
