Company mission
To empower customers to push the boundaries of what is possible and achieve the impossible with cutting-edge cloud solutions.
Role
Who you are
- A verifiable track record of hitting and exceeding quota in channel-led technology sales
- Hands-on experience selling storage, backup or wider cloud infrastructure through distributors, MSPs or resellers, and enough technical depth to hold your own with a partner’s engineers
- An existing network across UK&I channel partners, so that the first conversations in your market start in week one
- You have owned hard problems end to end, such as opening a new market or building a partner programme from a standing start, as the person who figured it out
- Exposure to AI or inference sales is a clear advantage. If you have sold model serving, GPU or AI infrastructure and can talk about latency, throughput and token-based pricing, tell us
- Professional proficiency in English
- AI-native working style: you use AI tools to move faster and work smarter. This is a baseline expectation at Impossible Cloud, not a differentiator
What the job involves
- Our partner network in the UK and Ireland is the main route to market for this region, and it has room to grow well beyond today’s footprint. You will own that market: recruiting the right distributors, MSPs and resellers, getting them selling, and joining the deals that matter
- Alongside storage, you will bring our managed inference offering into the same partner base and into AI-native end customers
- Own the UK&I revenue number for our storage product, with personal accountability from partner recruitment to closed deals
- Win and activate distributors, MSPs and resellers, and turn signed agreements into partners who actively sell and renew
- Join partner-led opportunities with end customers and lead the commercial and data sovereignty conversation through to signature
- Run structured pipeline reviews with each key partner, so that every account has a plan, a next step and a forecast you can defend
- Bring managed inference into your partner base and into AI-native companies and software vendors, working with Solutions Engineering on proofs of concept
- Feed what you learn from won and lost deals back to Product and Marketing, so that our positioning in the UK&I market keep improving
Application process
- Apply: Submit your CV or LinkedIn profile via the application form
- First response: We review every application carefully and get back to you within a few days. If your profile is a strong match, we'll invite you to an intro call via Google Meet
- Get to know us: We move quickly through two to four interview steps, including a meeting with our founders
- Offer: If it's a mutual fit, you'll receive a personal offer and feedback call, followed by a written offer document
Our take
The centralised model that has made cloud services popular faces many limitations and challenges, making it difficult for centralised systems to keep up with the increasing demand for data storage and processing solutions. Ultimately, it is unsustainable for the future, and decentralised cloud models offer a solution to the challenges faced by the centralised model.
Impossible Cloud is a Web3-based decentralised architecture offering multi-service enterprise cloud solutions for both traditional and Web3 businesses. Revolutionising the way we use cloud, the Impossible Cloud platform supports an almost unlimited capacity of storage and is combining the benefits of Web3 storage with end-to-end encryption to ensure the highest level of security for customers.
Due to the high demand for its services, Impossible Cloud has experienced substantial growth over the past few years. With a recent successful funding round, the cloud platform is now in a prime position to continue expanding its platform capabilities and grow its workforce, for a promising future in the world of Web3.
