Who you are

5+ years building and delivering experiences for digital products in product-led B2B or B2C companies
A strong portfolio of work delivering quality persona-based experiences, including experimentation and growth team efforts
An ability to flex across projects and teams as needed to provide design expertise and direction
An expert ability to communicate design solutions to leaders and peers, based on the right mix of customer needs and key business metrics
A demonstrated understanding of the levers that balance business goals, team processes, and user needs, and how they affect the production of usable design systems

What the job involves

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer for our Growth team who can deeply understand the needs of our users and design a delightful experience that drives both end-user and admin success. Additionally, we’re looking for someone who demonstrates a hypothesis-based approach and is passionate about designing experiments that lead to learnings and insights
You will be responsible for designing simple & intuitive experiences that our users will love and you will partner with our incredible data and engineering teams to see that your solutions can get realized
The Design Team at Calendly is a tight knit group of creatives who work closely with product management, content design, research, and engineering to craft amazing experiences for our users. We believe that great design starts with talking with our users, and that the best solutions come from interdisciplinary collaboration

Driving hypothesis-driven experimentation focused on understanding and improving the activation and retention funnels for Calendly’s individuals and teams
Driving quality updates focused on optimizing the core experience and improving retention across the Calendly product
Leading discovery work to build personas and user journeys
Partnering with designers, product managers, engineers, content designers, and researchers to improve and refine the Calendly experience
Partnering with the design system team to improve design patterns
Engaging with customers to ensure that they are usable

Our take

Calendly is a cloud-based scheduling service that is straightforward to use. It allows around 10 million customers per month to connect and make appointments based on their available times without having to send emails back and forth.

The platform offers four different plans - allowing individuals, small companies, and large enterprises alike to make use of these services. Calendly's growth to date been based mostly around a very organic strategy. Its invites become links to Calendly itself, so people who like it can, and do, start to use it.

There are a handful of competing products on the market, including offerings from Doodle and Microsoft, but Calendly's customer-friendly design has won it attention and allowed it to carve itself a space in the field. Impressive funding has contributed to the company's expansion, allowing it to capitalize on the increasing popularity of home and hybrid working.
