- We’re seeking a Solutions Engineer who’s proactive, resourceful, and passionate about unblocking customers at every turn
- In this role, you’ll be a key player in both our Sales and Customer Success teams, helping customers transform early excitement into fully realized solutions
- Relying on your technical expertise, you’ll facilitate in-depth conversations with developers and decision-makers
- Beyond closing the deal, you’ll ensure smooth solution design and integration—collaborating with customers on technical implementation, customization, and troubleshooting
- Your goal is not just to resolve issues but also work to prevent them altogether

- You’ll need a solid engineering background, a customer-centric mindset, and a knack for balancing rapid responses with precise execution
- Essentially, you’ll be “debugging the future”—Tavus supports top startups and enterprise companies alike, and you’ll be part of their journey every step of the way
- Become a wealth of knowledge - Understand how our product works on a deep technical level so you can support customers
- Creative problem solver - Work with customers to ideate and architect a solution that works with their business
- Diagnose and solve fast – Debug API requests, troubleshoot production issues, and provide clear, actionable solutions for customers
- Think like the customer – Spot patterns in issues, improve docs, and work with engineering to fix problems at the root (or, just do it yourself)
- Build - Create developer resources, like sample code, etc
- Optimize for zero – Aim for near-zero time to resolution. Every inefficiency is an opportunity to build a faster path forward
- Scale yourself – Automate, document, and streamline processes so future users never hit the same roadblocks twice
- Own technical enablement – Help enterprise teams understand best practices for integrating and scaling with our platform
Our take
Tavus is an AI video cloning tool that uses synthetic media, more popularly known as ‘deepfakes’, for companies to produce customizable and scalable content. The platform enables businesses to create videos for marketing, outreach, sales, recruiting and more while tailoring them to specific individuals.
Other players in the field include Loom and Vidyard, both of which have proven the value of personalised videos for businesses, but whose services take time. Tavus is scalable as its platform can generate thousands of personalised videos in the time it would take to record just one. The videos generated currently come with imperfections, notably the lip-syncing and video-cloning, which Tavus tenuously claims create more engaging content.
Synthetic media was called upon heavily during the pandemic, as companies created AI-copilots that could host conferences and pitches remotely, so it will be interesting to see how this industry continues to grow as time goes on. Tavus is young, but is expanding quickly with new products like its Phoenix-3 and Raven-0 models, having been backed by Sequoia and Y Combinator, amongst other top firms. Off the back of 2024 Series A funding, it has the means to accelerate development and growth.
