Role
Who you are
- Previous proven Credit control/ Accounts receivable experience preferred
- Previous Accounts Payable/Purchase ledger experience desired, but not essential
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Excel (V-lookups, pivot tables, etc.) is desirable
- Experience working with B2B clients
- Effective problem-solving abilities and strong organisational skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail is essential
- Ability to manage your own workload and work under pressure
- Experience posting journals
- Experience of working within a multi-currency environment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable principles
What the job involves
- We are on the lookout for a Finance Assistant who would be able to help with our accounts payable and receivable functions
- Managing the accounts inbox
- Process supplier invoices, staff expenses, and payments in line with company policies
- Prepare and post journal entries to the accounting system
- Dealing with customer and supplier queries
- Performing bank reconciliations
- Performing customer and supplier reconciliations
- Processing and reconciling credit card expenses
- Assisting with the weekly payment run and processing any ad-hoc payments
- Process transactions efficiently
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders to resolve queries
- Process credits and rebilling as needed
- Upload invoices to clients' portals
- Complete clients' onboarding forms
- Provide general administrative support to the finance team
