Role
Who you are
- Experience in B2B SaaS sales
- Experience closing complex deals ($20k–$250k+)
- Background in enterprise, strategic accounts, or consultative sales
- Experience navigating procurement, security reviews, and multi-stakeholder deals
- Experience selling to agencies, consultancies, engineering firms, professional services or project-based businesses is a plus
- Consultative mindset. You diagnose before prescribing
- Demo excellence. You can make complex workflows feel simple and compelling
- Commercial intelligence. You understand pricing strategy, deal structure, and negotiation dynamics
- Operational curiosity. You enjoy understanding how organisations actually work
- Credibility with senior stakeholders. You can confidently engage Heads of Operations, Finance leaders, and IT teams
- Builder mentality. You’re excited to shape the function, not just inherit it
- Low ego, high ownership. You’re comfortable working closely with founders and giving candid feedback
What the job involves
- Resource Guru has historically grown through product-led adoption. As larger organisations increasingly adopt the product, we're seeing bigger, more complex buying processes and we need an exceptional seller to help us win them
- You might already be an experienced Enterprise Account Executive, or a high-performing SaaS Account Executive ready to step into enterprise sales. What matters most is your ability to build trust, navigate complex buying journeys, and close high-value deals
- You'll own enterprise opportunities end-to-end, leading consultative sales cycles with multiple stakeholders across operations, delivery, IT, procurement, and senior leadership
- Your primary focus will be closing complex, high-value deals. You'll also work with leadership to refine our enterprise sales process, pricing, positioning, and processes, but success in this role will ultimately be measured by the deals you close
- This role is ideal for someone who enjoys consultative selling and winning enterprise business. It's focused on closing high-value opportunities, not generating outbound pipeline
- Lead consultative discovery with senior stakeholders (Ops, PMO, Finance, Delivery, IT)
- Map buying committees and build multi-threaded relationships
- Run structured deal processes from qualification through to close
- Navigate procurement, security reviews, and legal negotiations
- Partner with leadership and product teams on complex opportunities
- Ultimately, you are responsible for progressing opportunities and closing deals
- Deliver World-Class Demos
- Demos are a key part of how we sell
- Translate operational challenges into compelling product narratives
- Run clear, structured, benefit-led demos
- Demonstrate complex workflows simply and confidently
- Adapt in real time based on stakeholder needs
- Guide prospects toward clear next steps in the buying process
- Act as a Strategic Advisor to Customers
- Many prospects are trying to improve how they plan and allocate team capacity
- Help prospects think through workflow design and adoption
- Advise on rollout strategies and implementation approaches
- Quantify business impact and operational ROI
- Position Resource Guru as a strategic improvement, not just a tool
- Because this is an early enterprise role, you’ll help shape how we sell at this level
- You’ll contribute to enterprise pricing and packaging
- Qualification criteria and ICP refinement
- Objection handling frameworks
- Repeatable enterprise sales playbooks
- Feedback loops into product and marketing
- You won’t just execute the motion - you’ll help design it
- In 6–12 months:
- Enterprise sales operating independently with clear deal ownership
- Enterprise pipeline structured and predictable
- $20k+ deals closing consistently
- Early enterprise playbook emerging
- Strong referenceable enterprise customers
- Clear signals on pricing and packaging optimisation

- Live Demo: 45m-60m video call. You will lead an interactive demo based on a customer scenario to help us understand how you structure conversations, understand customer needs, communicate value and adapt your approach in real time. We will provide you with everything you need to prepare

Many managers still rely on complicated spreadsheets or cumbersome software to image their teams and resources. Resource Guru is a cloud-based team calendar designed to improve efficiencies at work. It manages schedules and projects, as well as booking meeting rooms and project forecasting.
The business was developed because of the difficulties the founders faced while managing jobs for an agency’s digital department. Not only is it built to make teams more efficient, but also to support employee wellbeing by reducing excessive workloads, hence boosting morale and lowering churn.
Since founding in 2011, Resource Guru has served enterprise clients such as Nasa, Ikea, the NHS, Saatchi & Saatchi, Vodafone, Intel, Roche and ASOS. This impressive roster of users demonstrates that the company is targeting a real pain point, providing a much-needed improvement to the way scheduling has historically been done.
