Role
Who you are
- At least 1 year of leadership experience in a B2B sales environment, ideally leading or developing BDRs, SDRs, or other commercial teams
- Strong experience and understanding of the Manufacturing vertical – either through working directly in the industry or through building, managing, or developing Manufacturing customers within a B2B SaaS environment
- Proven experience in New Business pipeline generation, outbound sales, and engaging complex buying groups
- A highly independent and proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to create structure and momentum independently
- Demonstrated ability to innovate and experiment with new sales approaches, messaging, channels, and account strategies
- Strong analytical skills and experience working with CRM systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms
- Hands-on experience with AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or similar technologies, and a genuine interest in applying AI to improve sales effectiveness and productivity
- Fluent German at C2 level and strong business-level English

- As a Business Development Team Lead for Manufacturing, you will lead and develop a high-performing BDR team focused on generating New Business pipeline across the Medium and Mid Market segments

- You will take ownership of your team's performance while continuously developing new and innovative sales approaches
- We are looking for someone who is proactive, entrepreneurial, and comfortable operating independently – someone who identifies opportunities, experiments with new ideas, and turns successful approaches into scalable best practices
- Alongside leading your team, you will help shape our Manufacturing outbound strategy and drive innovation through data, AI, and modern sales technology
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing BDR team across the Medium and Mid Market segments
- Own pipeline performance and ensure the team consistently generates high-quality, commercially relevant New Business opportunities
- Develop and continuously optimise our outbound strategy for the Manufacturing vertical
- Coach BDRs on prospecting, qualification, stakeholder mapping, multi-threading, and engaging complex buying groups
- Bring industry insights into messaging, sales plays, account strategies, and enablement
- Identify, test, and scale innovative sales approaches, channels, and AI-powered ways of working
- Use data to identify performance opportunities and continuously improve conversion, productivity, and pipeline quality
- Collaborate closely with AEs, Marketing, RevOps, Enablement, and other GTM teams to drive success within the Manufacturing vertical
