Role
Who you are
- 3–5 years of experience building modern web applications across frontend and backend
- Strong experience with React and TypeScript
- Solid backend experience with Go
- Proven ability to build and ship features end-to-end, ideally in early-stage or fast-moving environments
- Strong product mindset—you think in terms of solving user problems, not just implementing tasks
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and making decisions without perfect specs
- Ability to take ownership of features, from idea to production
- Excellent English communication skills, able to collaborate with distributed teams
- Berlin-based or willing to relocate
- Please note: We understand that certain individuals may hesitate to apply for a job unless they fulfill all the listed requirements. It's important to note that this is a wishlist rather than a strict checklist. We evaluate candidates based on their potential, not just their resumes. If you believe this position aligns with your skills and aspirations, we encourage you to submit your application!
Desirable
- Experience building data-heavy or workflow-driven products (ETL, pipelines, dashboards, internal tools)
- Familiarity with API design and integration patterns
- Experience in agentic coding workflows, AI-powered development tooling, or advanced dev tooling
- Knowledge of AWS and cloud-native concepts (useful when integrating with backend teams)
- Familiarity with ISO 27001-aligned and SOC 2-compliant engineering practices
What the job involves
- Take ownership of end-to-end feature development across our new Data Platform, from frontend (React/TypeScript) to backend (Go)
- Play a key role in building our platform from 0 to 1, owning features from idea to production
- Build and ship user-facing features that enable non-technical users to configure complex data onboarding and pipeline processes
- Work across the stack to rapidly prototype, iterate, and deliver high-impact product features
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering to turn high-level problems into pragmatic, working solutions
- Actively challenge product and UX decisions, contributing your own ideas to simplify complex workflows
- Contribute to both frontend architecture and backend services, ensuring smooth integration between UI, APIs, and data processing logic
- Make pragmatic trade-offs between speed and scalability, focusing on shipping value early
- Take ownership of features in production, including debugging, iteration, and continuous improvement
Our take
In the landscape of software development, the onboarding of customer data remains a persistent challenge for businesses across various industries. Recognising the time-consuming and resource-intensive nature of manually restructuring messy data received from clients, Ingestro (previously nuvo) has set out to tackle this process.
The company addresses the common pain points of countless reformatting cycles, which not only waste months of time and internal resources but also diverts focus from core product development. Employing AI algorithms, Ingestro automatically handles diverse use cases and transforms external data into valuable assets, enabling businesses to map and transform data into the desired structure and format.
Since its inception, Ingestro has attracted attention and support, with 2023 funding being used to further develop its AI algorithms, solidifying its value. With a robust foundation and a growing client portfolio, Ingestro is poised to play a pivotal role in reshaping the landscape of data onboarding and could become a leading platform for data movements in the software development realm.
