Role
Who you are
- 3+ years in Renewals Management / Customer Success / Account Management with Enterprise SaaS experience
- Demonstrated track record of continuous, substantial, and demonstrable success in SaaS sales
- Experience engaging with cross-functional teams in navigating the quote-to-close process
- Excelled at developing relationships with and becoming a trusted resource for customers
- Experience managing pipelines with both fast moving transactional deals as well as longer term larger strategic deals
- Proficiency with Salesforce or other CRM systems to manage and report on renewals performance effectively
- Ability to analyze data and customer insights to make informed decisions about renewal trends strategies
- Proven ability to manage complex renewals involving multiple stakeholders, including C-level executives
- Effective communicator, strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Motivated, driven and results-oriented
- Strong negotiation, presentation and closing skills
- Self-motivated, proactive, energetic team player
What the job involves
- We are looking for a talented Renewals Manager with experience in Enterprise SaaS who will engage with our customers throughout the year to transact and maintain on-time renewals, cross-sell/upsell within customer base, and focus on customer retention
- The Renewals Manager will be expected to drive continuous improvement of the playbooks and processes while collaborating with multiple teams in the organization
- You’ll join a fast-paced, high-growth organization where you’ll have a direct impact on the future of the business, working on key initiatives that drive long-term customer success and retention
- You'll work cross-functionally to create alignment and deliver results alongside builders who have helped to shape the success of companies such as Google, Okta, AWS, Snowflake, and more
- Partner closely with Sales team to drive and own the renewal processes in collaboration from reach out and negotiation to confirmation
- Develop and optimize our renewals program, from playbooks to processes
- Engage key stakeholders in identifying contract requirements and resolving potential roadblocks to ensure an on-time close
- Manage escalations relating to contract questions, negotiations, and requests
- Negotiate renewal terms to align with the customer and the company goals
- Proactively build and identify opportunity signals and generate expansion opportunities (up-sell, add-on, cross-sell, etc.)
- Identify, escalate and forecast at-risk opportunities to minimize customer churn
