Business Development Representative, Poppulo

Desirable

• The Business Development Representative (BDR) will be responsible for inbound and outbound sales prospecting, initiating the follow-up and first outreach with potential customers
• Inbound sales activities will take precedence over outbound in this specific role
• They will conduct cold calls, follow up via email using Sales Enablement technology and using social selling to help book meetings
• BDR’s will also take the first high-level exploratory call with prospects and pass qualified opportunities to the Enterprise Sales team using BANT methodology
• They will be responsible for expanding our customer base by using prospecting strategies and technology to identify new opportunities
• Business Development Representative’s will work closely with Account Executives and enjoy working with cross functional teams, especially Marketing, Sales Operations and Product
• They will report to the Business Development Manager
• Develop a deep understanding of our buyer personas and the needs/pains of our target market
• Conduct cold calls and cold emails to prospects across multiple departments
• Generate and qualify opportunities using the BANT methodology to hand over to Sales Representatives
• Write and adapt call and email scripts and outreach sequences
• Utilize social selling techniques to attract and source leads
• Update and maintain detailed notes in our CRM
• Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and execute new strategies to attract our target market
• Stay up to date on industry trends, news, competitors, and our target market
• Explore and utilize various prospecting tools and software
• Engage in networking activities, face-to-face meetings, and other lead generation activities
